Meet Melissa

Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Registered Massage Therapist

Melissa received her Registered Massage Therapy certification from the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2017, while studying concurrently for her Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture degrees which she received in 2019. She is a registered member in good standing with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).

Her education has provided her with a unique blend of modalities that have allowed her to integrate her knowledge of traditional healing with current conventional standards of treatment. Melissa has experience treating chronic illnesses, mental health, concussion and traumatic brain injury, and sports related injuries and rehabilitation.

Melissa understands that sometimes the journey to a functional and healthful life can be overwhelming, frustrating, or full of fear of the unknown. It is her honour to provide an open-minded, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment for clients to receive treatments.

Outside of her work, Melissa enjoys living an active and outdoor lifestyle, having new adventures, traveling, gardening, and being with her loved ones
